Professor Ruth E. Clinefelter established The Wright Scholarship for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in her last will and testament in August of 2010. Professor Clinefelter was the history bibliographer and emeritus professor of bibliography at the University Libraries, serving The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ for 43 years.
The Wright Scholarship for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is established to provide financial assistance for a full-time student in memory of Ruth's father, Cyril Wright, her mother, Elizabeth Dresher Wright, and her stepmother, Marguerite Gerow Wright. It shall be for a female student as a first preference, in good standing, and a baccalaureate or graduate-level student in the fields of classics, archaeology, history, or women's studies.
